Great Summer Crawl - July 19th

Great Summer Crawl Town: Baltimore
Presented By: Baltimore Bar Crawl
Location: Inner Harbor/ Power Plant Live!
Official Website: http://www.baltimorebarcrawl.com/Event.php?page=9

In July, Baltimore Bar Crawl presented the Great Summer Crawl through the Inner Harbor. In the almost-stifling summer heat, crawlers sought refuge in cold beers and refreshing cocktails. Read on to see how the crawl was -

5 - 6 pm - J. Paul's - The Great Summer Baltimore Bar Crawl started off at J. Paul's, a more upscale bar/restaurant that is right on the water's edge. While crawl starts are typically slow - usually people make it out later in the evening instead of drinking at 5 - we've had quite possibly the best start yet. The staff here was helpful and prompt, the open bar amazing, and the buffet delicious. A pleasure to work with and a great place to drink, J. Paul's started the crawl off to a great start.

6 - 7 pm - Big Kahuna - After a great time, the Crawl went next door to Big Kahuna, a Mexican-themed bar and restaurant. Last time we went through, they were closed, but this time around they were open - much to our enjoyment. The staff was courteous, the drink deals generous, and we look forward to the next time we crawl through the Inner Harbor.

7 - 9 pm - Howl at the Moon - A standard stop on our crawls, Howl at the Moon delivered yet another solid experience this time around. We always love coming here, because of the dueling (and highly entertaining) pianists, helpful staff, and great drink deals - ensuring definite future visits.

9 - 10 pm - Mosaic - A new addition to the crawl, Mosaic was a departure from our earlier stops. Tucked away in the back of Power Plant, Mosaic is a spacious bar and lounge, and many crawlers took advantage of the comfortable seating. After a few bombs and bottles, some crawlers hit the dance floor and had fun showing off their dancing skills.

10 - 11 pm - Angels Rock Bar - Another standard stop, Angel's Rock Bar easily lived up to our expectations. Despite the crush of people, the staff here kept our glasses full and serviced, and many crawlers here took in the various sights and sounds. Angel's Rock has always been a fun stop, and we look forward to coming back.

11 - 12 am - Blue Door - The official outdoor bar of Power Plant, the crawl came out to the Blue Door to enjoy the warm summer night, which was a welcome relief from the blistering sun or recirculated air conditioning from before. Cold beers match perfectly with warm nights, and many of us indulged in this traditional summer past time.

12 - 2 am - Mex Baltimore - Mex is the usual finisher for the Crawl, and this crawl was no exception. A dance bar, crawlers hit the floor again to dance and mingle with the Baltimore night life. Mex again gave us great drink deals and service, and we will definitely return - especially for the margaritas.

Despite the fact that i dont remember half of this crawl, i can tell you that the rumors were probably true, and if they're true, its more than enough reason to come on this crawl!!!!!!
